Mrs. Geraldine T. (Perry) Laorenza Hasse, a resident of Salisbury, formerly of North Andover and beloved wife of Darwin L. Hasse, died surrounded by her loving children, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston on Wednesday, February 18, 2015.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on May 2, 1940, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Agatha (Gouthro) Perry. Geraldine worked as a waitress at the 99 restaurant in Salem New Hampshire for almost 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to her granddaughter Keri's sporting events. She also loved being at the beach and was an avid Patriot's fan. Above all, she was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
Besides her husband, Darwin, she is survived by her loving children; Patricia A. Laorenza of Salisbury, Michael J. and his wife Nancy A. Laorenza of North Andover, Pamela M. and her husband Robert E. Chesmore of North Andover, John T. Laorenza of Lawrence, Lisa M. and her husband William Becotte of Lawrence and Tracey L. and her husband James W. Geary of Waterford, Michigan, former husband; Thomas S. Laorenza of Lawrence, fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was also the loving grandmother of the late Kevin McCarty and great-grandmother of the late Jack McCarty.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Michael Church, 196 Main Street, North Andover on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Friday, February 20, 2015, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be private.
