Gilford-----Ophelia “Tune” Maryanna Giguere, 91, formerly of Glenridge Way, died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Concord Hospital.
Ophelia was born on September 12, 1923 in Laconia, the daughter of Alphonse and Clara (Fortier) Gagne. She was a lifelong resident of Laconia and Gilford.
Ophelia was employed for thirty five years for Scott & Williams. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Friendship Club.
Ophelia is survived by many nephews and nieces and great nephews and great nieces. In addition to her parents she predeceased by her husband George V. Giguere in 1998, three brothers Armand, Roland and Sylvio Gagne and by two sisters, Blanche Boisvert and Emma Arsenault.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 11:00AM at St. Andre Bessette Parish-Sacred Heart Church 291 Union Ave. Laconia, NH.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
