Edward F. Good age 86 of Canton passed away at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston on February 17th. Born and raised in Milton. Edward attended Milton Public Schools. He graduated from Milton High in 1946. After high school Mr. Good enlisted in the US Navy, he was stationed Pensacola, FL. Edward worked for New England Telephone for many years. Edward and his twin brother started their own painting company in Canton, appropriately called Good Brothers Painting. He was a member of the Ponkapoag Civic Association and served as an usher at St. Gerard Majella for many years. For over 30 years Edward & Mary spent every winter in Barbados. Beloved husband of 64 years of Mary E. (Byrnes). Loving father of Randy of Weymouth, Mark J. of Canton, Alan J. of OK, Kathleen Good-Vogue of SC, Craig W. of NV and the late Christine M. Also survived by his twin brother John J. of Milton, his sisters Patricia Barrett of Braintree, Ann Finegan of CA and the late Robert. Cherished grandfather of Renee, Daniel, Alex, Jonny, Amanda, and Helena. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Monday morning at 10:00. Burial Milton Cemetery, Milton. | |||||
