Francis R. Machado, age 96, passed away on February 13, 2015. He was the husband of Mary (Cardoza) Machado, and son of the late Francis and Francisca Machado. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and a Civil Engineer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Joan Machado, Linda Chagaruly (husband John), Lisa Riendeau (husband Brian), and Roland Gagne. He was also the father of the late Michael Gagne and brother of the late Raymond, Agnes and Edith.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on THURSDAY here at 8 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Patrick’s Church at 9 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Somerset. Calling hours on WEDNESDAY from 4-7 P.M.
