Darcy Elizabeth Nientimp, age 26, of Fall River, passed away Feb. 13, 2015 at MA General Hospital after a courageous battle with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. She was the beloved daughter of Gregory Nientimp (FRFD) and Erin (Carey) Nientimp, the beloved sister and best friend of Kaley B. Nientimp, and the longtime girlfriend of Michael Crowley.
In addition to her parents and sister, Darcy was also survived by many aunts, uncle, cousins and friends and the puppy mom to “Uma”. Darcy was the beloved granddaughter of the late Theresa Nientimp, John and Pauline Carey. She was a graduate of UMass Dartmouth and the Mass. College of Pharmacy School of Nursing. She worked at St. Anne’s Hospital as an ICU Nurse, where she could fulfill her passion of being a nurse and caring for people.
Darcy was very committed to her family, special circle of friends and her Saint Anne's co-workers who tremendously supported her through this journey.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, MA on WEDNESDAY, Feb. 18, 2015 at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Name Church, Hanover St. Fall River at 10:00 A.M.
