Obituary

Richard A. Foster 69, of Natick died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Metro West Medical Center in Natick.
He was the beloved husband of Joanne (Connell) Foster sharing 45 years of marriage.
Born in Natick and a lifelong resident he was the son of the late Raymond and Mary (Ryan) Foster.
Mr. Foster was a Project Administrator for over 30 years for the General Dynamics Corporation, and previously worked for Honeywell and GTE.
Richard was a member of the Natick Elks and was given the Honor Designation of Life Member.
He coached and managed the Natick Elks Softball Teams in Metro West Leagues and in many Cape Cod Summer League Tournaments in Falmouth.
He attended the Natick School System and graduated from Natick High School Class of 1963.
Richard was known for his friendly approach with people, especially if they were from Natick.
He loved the Town and was proud its sports reputation name of “The Home of Champions”.
Richard cherished most just the simple enjoyment of being with his beloved family and friends.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons Keith R. Foster and his wife Ellen of Natick, Randy S. Foster and his wife Lauren of Upper Saddle River NJ, five grandchildren, Justin, Emma, Rachel, Max and Gabriella Foster, and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Helen Kelly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, February 16th, at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church at 10:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Interment St Patrick Cemetery.
