POSTPONED DUE TO SNOW

Susan (Fantasia) Brown passed away peacefully at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital after a long illness. She was 78. Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Carmella “Millie” (Ruma) Fantasia. A Medford resident for most of her life, she enjoyed the company of her family and friends.

The wife of the late Peter Brown, she was a devoted mother to Vincent Savarese of Lowell, Joseph Savarese of NH, Anthony Savarese of Everett, Michael Savarese of Dracut and the late William Savarese. She was a dear sister of Marie Piccoli of Stoneham, the late Rosann Donato and William Fantasia. She also leaves 9 loving grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on TUESDAY FEBRUARY 17th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St Raphael Church at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home MONDAY 4 - 8 PM.
