Frances T. Smith, 94 of Methuen passed away peacefully on February 9, 2015 at the Prescott House Nursing Home in North Andover. Frances was born on October 2, 2015 in Lawrence to the late Samuel and Theresa Smith. She attended St. Laurence O'Toole Grammar School. She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School and Mass College of Pharmacy. Frances was a long time employee of her family pharmacy, Smith Pharmacy of Methuen. She was an avid reader and a communicant of St. Monica's Parish. Frances was also an artist, who enjoyed water color painting. Her greatest enjoyment was her family and their many pet dogs.
Frances was the dear sister of the late Rose Mary Smith and the late Elizabeth Smith. She was predeceased by her late cousin Theresa Scanlon and cousin Sharon Scanlon. Frances is survived by her first cousin Walter Scanlon and his wife Sylvia of Lawrence and their children Patrick and his wife Maryann, Daniel, Lorene, Kathleen and her husband Joseph Canzano, and a number of cousins and family friends.
