Jeanette Ann (Arena) Gill of Andover passed away Monday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 71.

Raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Marie (Dello Iacono) Arena. A graduate of Medford High School, Jeanette was a devoted wife and mother. She and her husband Bob began their family in Medford, but eventually settled in Andover, where they have lived for the past 30 years. Jeanette worked with her husband and managed their civil engineering firm, Robert M. Gill and Assoc.

The beloved wife of Robert M. Gill, she was a devoted mother to Darlene Le Resche and her husband Philip of Phoenix, AZ, Joanne Golden and her husband Tom of Salem, NH, Kimberly Arnold and her wife Jacqueline Mahoney of Atlanta, GA, Laurie Gill of Allen, TX, and Maureen Looney of Billerica. She was a loving grandmother to Karyna, Bryan, Chel'c, Juliana, Julian, Christian, Amaya and Hunter as well as a loving great-grandmother to Cameron and Cruze. Jeanette was a dear sister to Anthony Arena of Medford, Camille Welch of North Reading and Marie Burns of Wilmington.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Saturday, February 14th at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Saint Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Friday from 4 thru 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
