Helen (Cabral) Palumbo, age 91, passed away on Sunday February 8, 2015. She was the loving wife of Paul John Palumbo and daughter of the late Manuel and Lucy (Rego) Cabral. She was the Manager of the Hot Lunch Program for the Somerset School System for over 30 years, enjoyed cooking and loved all kinds of animals. She was a generous contributor to the ASPCA and a member of St. Thomas More Parish.
She was the devoted mother of Paul S. (wife Cathy) and Thomas T. (wife Joann) Palumbo, grandchildren John and Thomas J. Palumbo and Jamie Ventura, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Gilda Minkin.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on SATURDAY here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Thomas More Church at 10 A.M.
