DIGHTON – Mary A. “Mae” (Araujo) Dupont, wife of the late Charles P. Dupont, died at Longmeadow of Taunton on Feb. 5, 2015.
She was 94.
Born in Dighton, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Rita (Coelho) Araujo.
A longtime Dighton resident, Mae was a graduate of the former Dighton High School.
She was later employed by Raytheon and Princess House, both in North Dighton.
A communicant of St. Nicholas of Myra Church, Mae enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her cherished nieces and nephews.
She was an avid reader and also enjoyed baking and puzzle making.
She was the sister of the late Manuel Araujo, Caesar Araujo and Helen McClellan.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Saturday, Feb. 14th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Nicholas of Myra Church, North Dighton at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
The family will be receiving visitors from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., prior to the mass.
