Obituary

Laconia-----Carol Ann (Morrissette) Campbell, 65, a lifelong resident of Laconia NH, passed away peacefully at Lakes Region General Hospital on February 2, 2015, following a long period of failing health; surrounded by loving family.
She was born in Laconia on February 15, 1949, the daughter of the late Oscar Eugene and Rachel Mary (Vallee) Morrissette.
She was employed for 25 years in the Teflon dept. at NH Ball Bearing in Laconia until her retirement, from there she lived out the rest of her years at home as a Homemaker and spending quality time with her family. She was a dedicated and loving Mother and Grandmother .
She had hobbies which she thoroughly enjoyed such as her love for gardening, taking in the scenery of all her beautiful flowers, spending time at the ocean, her collection of dolls, spending time with her pets, she had a great love for animals and enjoyed bird watching, she spent many hours in her kitchen cooking, her favorite pastime. She always enjoyed decorating every room in her house at Christmas and entertaining family and friends.
She had a strong faith in Jesus and was an active member at the Congregational Church of Laconia for many years past, attending Sunday services when her children were young, getting them involved in Sunday School classes and Bible studies.
She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Emile Campbell, a son Emile Campbell Jr., and daughters, Brandy Campbell and Tonya Smith all of Laconia and Niki Campbell of Belmont; her six grandchildren; grandsons, Ryan Chandler, Nolan Appleton, Logan Campbell and Oscar Smith all of Laconia and two granddaughters, Lily Campbell of Berlin, and Natalie Smith of Camden ME.; her step mother Irene Morrissette of Belmont; four siblings; a twin sister Corrine (Morrissette) O'Mara of Laconia, brothers; Eugene Morrissette of Loudon, Ralph Morrissette and his wife Mary, and Bruce Morrissette and his wife Irene both of Tilton, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother David Morrissette formerly of Laconia.
Her favorite charities which she donated to regularly were the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of her granddaughter Natalie whom was diagnosed with the genetic disorder at a very young age and the NH Humane Society.
Her enormous personality, the sound of her laughter, her generosity towards others and her warm smile will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Heaven has gained a wonderful new Angel.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, using the Carriage House entrance.
A Funeral Service will follow at 5:00pm also at the Funeral Home.
Burial will be at the Union Cemetery, Laconia in the spring.
