Mrs. Dorothy Anne (Sprague) St.Cyr, a resident of Medford and beloved wife of the late Normand L. St.Cyr, died at the Greenwood Nursing Home in Wakefield on Monday afternoon, February 2, 2015. She was 91 years old.
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on September 15, 1923, she was the beloved daughter of the late Harold J. and Annie (Lowe) Sprague. Mrs. St. Cyr was a secretary for an accountant. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Malden. Dorothy was most devoted to her loving husband and family. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her devoted children; Judith A. and her husband James C. Mason of Billerica, Mark F. and his wife Maryann St.Cyr of Bolton, Regina M. and her husband Peter A. Donovan of Melrose, Norma J. Hamilton of Raymond, New Hampshire and Christopher R. St.Cyr of Medford, mother-in-law of James McNamara of Blackstone, sister; Jeanne Desmond of Dracut, grandchildren; Gregory and his wife Kathryn Mason, Zachary Hamilton and Adam Donovan and many nieces and nephews. She was also the loving mother of the late Denise M. McNamara and mother-in-law of the late Kimberly St.Cyr.
Visiting hours will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Thursday, February 5, 2015, from 5 to 8 PM.
Her funeral mass be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 10 Fellsway East, Malden, on Friday, February 6, 2015, at 9 AM. Interment will be in the Cambridge Cemetery in Cambridge.
