Mr. Charles Arthur Booker, a lifelong resident of Somerville, died at the Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, following a long illness on Saturday morning, January 31, 2015. He was 63 years old.
Born in Somerville, Massachusetts, on June 11, 1951, he was the beloved son of the late Albert T. and Rose M. (Mucci) Booker. Charles was a graduate of Somerville High School and had worked for the US Postal Service and was also a Technician of Electronics at the Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford. In his spare time, Charles enjoyed playing Chess and loved using his computer and various other gadgets. He was also an avid Patriots fan.
He is survived by his dear friend; Karen Williams of New Bern, North Carolina, cousins; Patricia A. Latham and Karen M. Wyatt, both of Billerica, his beloved cat; Miss Kitty and many other relatives and friends. He will be dearly missed.
