SHREWSBURY-Agnes Zarouhi (Boghosian) Torosian, 92, passed away Friday, January 30 in Saint Vincent Hospital. Her husband Archie Torosian, Sr. predeceased her. She is survived by her son, Archie Torosian, Jr. of Shrewsbury and several nephews and nieces. She was also predeceased by three sisters and a brother. She was born in Pawtucket, RI, daughter of Ghevont and Manushag (Jafferian) Boghosian.
Mrs. Torosian was an insurance clerk at Winchester Insurance Agency for several years before retiring. She was a longtime member of the Armenian Church of Our Saviour and its Senior Ladies Guild, and also served as Charter Treasurer of the Young Women's Guild in 1949 and Treasurer of the Armenian Women's Welfare Association.
Visiting hours for Mrs. Torosian will be held at Armenian Church of Our Saviour Church, 87 Salisbury Street, Worcester on Wednesday, February 4 from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Burial in Oakland Cemetery in Cranston, RI will be private.
