Dr. Thomas Francis Kelley, age 82, of Canton died peacefully January 29 at the Norwood Hospital. Born in Melrose, Mr. Kelley earned his A.B. and M.A. at Boston University, and a PhD from Brown University, Dr. Kelley worked at Instrumental Laboratories for a number of years before he started several companies involved in Biomedical Materials. Statsspin was his company located in Norwood, MA. Reading,, playing hockey and singing Barbershop were hobbies he enjoyed. He also enjoyed writing to the editors of various newspapers concerning his opinions about various current issues. He was always pleased when his comments were published. Beloved husband of Irene (Gesiak). Father of Steven, Kenneth and Richard. Brother of Patricia, Kathleen, Virginia and Kevin. Also survived by 14 grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday 1-4 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Monday morning at 10. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery.
