THOMPSON, Kenneth Bodner "K.T.", passed away peacefully and entered into the loving arms of his Father on Friday, January 30,2015. He was born in DeRidder, LA. He retired from LG&E and was a division manager for Team Fishel. He was a member of Westport Road Baptist Church.
Kenny was a loving husband, avid Cardinal fan,bowler and golfer. But the true loves of his life were his children: daughter, Natalie Thompson (Chris); son, Kenny Nolan Thompson (Allison); grandson, Brayden; and his two loyal companions, Maggie and Newt.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Newton Thompson.
In addition to his children and grandson, left to cherish his memory are his mother, Shirley Thompson; sister, Michelle Heuer (Dale); the mother of his children, Lisa Hall, and many other dear friends and family.
Funeral services will be Monday 11:00am February 2,2015 at The Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Road with burial in Worthington Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, February 1,2015 at the funeral home from 2:00pm to 8:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America or the Kentucky Humane Society.
