Michael James MacBeth, Sr. of Medford died Tuesday, January 27. Born in Stoneham, he was the son of Pauline (Neary) Sawicki and her husband Leonard of Medford, and the late Thomas E. MacBeth. Michael was employed as a custodian with the Stoneham public school system and coached his son's basketball team for 6 years.

Michael was the beloved fiancé of Jamian Marino and the devoted father of Michael J. MacBeth Jr., both of Stoneham. He was the brother of Pamela J. MacBeth of Medford and Thomas J. MacBeth of Stoneham.

A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, February 3 at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 4 through 8PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Michael's Memory Fund, Stoneham Bank, 80 Montvale Ave., Stoneham, MA 02180.
