Obituary

Ruth P. (McNeilly) Hurley of Natick died on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at her home. She was seventy-eight years old.

Born in Brookline, Massachusetts on September 24, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Beatrice (Orff) McNeilly. Ruth enjoyed dancing, bowling, traveling and spending time with her family. She was the devoted wife of Gerard F. Hurley of Natick and they shared fifty-eight years of marriage.

She was the loving mother of Gerard F. Hurley, Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Audrey Mutascio and her husband Peter of Stoughton, Robert Hurley and his wife Suzanne of Natick, Paul Hurley of Roslindale, Michael Hurley of Jamaica Plain and Kelley Duncan and her husband Robert of Natick. Cherished grandmother of Peter, Jr., Michael and Jason Mutascio, Nicole, Patrick and Rachael Hurley, Reed and William Duncan and great grandmother of Madison Mutascio. Caring sister of Joseph McNeilly and his wife Carolyn of Jamaica Plain and Joan White also of Jamaica Plain and the late James and Robert McNeilly.

Funeral from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common on Saturday, January 31st at 10:00AM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Linus Church, 119 Hartford St., Natick at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.

Visiting hours in the funeral home on Friday, January 30th from 4:00-8:00PM. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Natick. Memorial contributions in Ruth’s memory may be made to the Vernon Cancer Center, 2014 Washington St., Newton, MA 02462
