New Bedford – Manuel G. Costa, age 87 of New Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the loving husband of Alice (Sylvia) Costa and the son of Elvira and Gilberto Costa.
Manuel was a lifelong resident of this area and was self-employed as a Home Builder until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Costa of New Bedford; a daughter, Sandra Lee Olejarz; grandson, Jason Olejarz; a sister, Alice DoCarmo; special nephew, Gary Alegre; as well as several other nieces and nephews.
Mr. Costa was cremated. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, February 7 from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. with a Religious Service to take place during that time. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, Ma.
