Mrs. Martha B. (Turlo) Houle, 87, of Methuen, died Sunday at Nevens Nursing Home. The daughter of the late Ludwick and Elizabeth (Piesecki) Turlo, she had been an area resident all her life. Mrs. Houle was an employee of Bradlees and worked in the cafeteria at North Andover public schools. She loved spending time with her family, working on puzzles and word searches, and her trips to Foxwoods. The Widow of Andrew Houle Sr. she was also pre-deceased by her daughter Albertine Homsi and grandson Warren J. Perry III. Mrs. Houle is survived by four daughters; Marcella and her husband John Nesbitt of Newport News, VA , Andrea and her husband Robert Ehlers of Somers, IA, Lorraine and her husband James Silva of Worcester, MA and Sandra and her husband James Ampong of Worcester, MA. One son; Andrew Houle Jr. ,and his fiancee Jennifer Ambrosini of New York. A son-in-law Edward Homsi of North Attleboro, MA, One brother; William Turlo of Amesbury, MA. There are 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Houle’s memory to the Merrimack Valley Hospice, Home Health Foundation, Attn: External Relations, 360 Merrimack Street, Building 9, Lawrence, MA 01843.
