WEBSTER – Charles P. Pietluck, 98, died Friday, January 23, 2015 after a short illness. His wife , Gladys C. (Dudek) Pietluck, died in 1966.
He leaves a daughter, Dianne Lenky and her husband John of Thompson, CT; a grandson, Nathaniel C. Lenky; and a longtime companion, Sophie Laporte of Webster.
He was born in Southbridge and raised in Fabyan, CT, a son of John P. and Leonora (Polak) Pietluck. He moved to Webster in 1953.
Mr. Pietluck was a construction laborer all his life. He worked for Herbert Engineering in Worcester retiring as a labor foreman in 1975. He was a member of Laborers International Union of North America’s Worcester Local Chapter 243 for over 60 years. He enjoyed deep sea fishing and gardening, and played the harmonica all his life.
Funeral services will be held privately. There are no calling Hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
