Filipe Gomes Resende (32) died January 24th in Brockton.
He was born in Mosterios, Fogo, Cape Verde loving son of Domingos and Camirnha (Fernandes) Resende of Brockton. Filipe loved sport cars, motorcycles, clubbing listening to music and especially watching "Porto" Soccer. He also enjoyed traveling back to Cape Verde.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his paternal grandparents Domingos Resende Sr. and Maria Monteiro both of Brockton, his maternal grandmother Olinda Gomes of Brockton, his 2 sons Giovanni Monteiro Resende and Jeremiah Pires Resende, 2 brothers Nilton Resende of Brockton, Daniel F. Resende of Cape Verde, 3 sisters Anna Maria Fernandes Resende and Maria Filipa Fernandes Resende both of Brockton, Ligia F. Resende of Cape Verde, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Wed., Feb. 4th at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St.Edith Stein Church Brockton at 9 am. Burial weather permitting will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday Feb 3rd from 6-9 pm.
