Obituary

Worcester: Esther (Farmer) Schonberg, 87, passed away on Thurs. Jan. 22, 2015. She leaves a son Brad Schonberg and Donna Turner of Oxford; 5 daughters Karen and John Hodgson of Beverly, Bonnie and Mike Blinn of Boylston, Julie and John Chamberland of CT, Penny and Bruce DiGioia of CT, and Amy and Tim Salls of Framingham; two daughter in laws-Kathy Schonberg of Grafton and Nancy Schonberg of Bellingham, a sister Eleanor and Robert Tervo of Boylston; 24 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Esther was predeceased by her husband Norman Schonberg, sons - Norman, Wayne, and Eric, a sister Evelyn Campbell, and a grandaughter Krista Schonberg

Esther was born in Brockton, daughter of the late Walter and Ella Farmer. She graduated from Commerce High School. She was active in the Boylston Senior Center, liked playing Bingo and enjoyed gardening. She had many hobbies which she loved to share with all of her children. She is especially remembered for her ability to knit. Funeral services and burial will be private. Nordgren Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
