Edward "Eddy" Inserra, age 63, died Tuesday, January 20, 2015, in St. Pete Beach, FL. Born in Medford, Eddy was the devoted son of Irene (Ewins) & the late Edward Inserra.

Eddy, as he was known, graduated from Medford High School, class of 1969. During his high school years, Eddy and his brother Robert played in a ten piece band, with Eddy on drums. He earned his Associates Degree from Leland Powers School of Boston in communications and retired in 2004 as an accountant from Fred D. Pastore and Associates.

Because of Eddy's love of the beach, he moved, after retiring, to St. Pete Beach, FL. He enjoyed the ocean, and fishing as well as working on old cars. Most of all, Eddy will be missed by his loving family, especially his three loving grandchildren.

Eddy was the beloved Fiancé of Laureen MacPhail of St. Pete Beach, FL. Devoted father of Eddy, Mark, Matthew, and Lyndsey Inserra all of Woburn, Nikki Inserra, and her partner Bryan Coombes of Reading. Loving Grandfather of Bryan, Nathan, & Jaydon. Devoted Son of Irene (Ewins) Inserra of Londonderry, NH and the late Edward Inserra. Brother of Robert Inserra, his wife Dr. Annie Holmes-Inserra of St. Petersburg, FL, Joyce Inserra of Londonderry, NH, and Janis Inserra-Lomanno of North Andover. Former Husband of Sharman Pastore-Inserra of Woburn. Uncle of Jenna Lomanno-Smith of Fremont, NH & Michael Lomanno of Revere.

Funeral from the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. WOBURN, Monday, January 26th at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Road, WOBURN, AT 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
