W. STEUBENVILLE, OH…Christopher Gonzalez-Santiago, 22, of Fall River passed away, accidently on Sunday, January 18, 2015.
Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, he was a son of Felix Gonzalez of New Bedford and Sharon Santiago of Fall River.
He was the fiancé of Leysha Melendez.
He was employed as a laborer in the construction field and was a member of Iglesi Cristiana Pentecostal. Christopher was always happy and enjoyed basketball, spending time with family and friends.
Along with his parents and fiancée, survivors include a daughter: Nashalee M. Gonzalez-Melendez of Fall River, 7 brothers: Luis D. Ocasio-Santiago, Felix S. Gonzalez-Santiago, Jossean A. Gonzalez-Santiago, Emanuel Gonzalez-Santiago, Angel Gonzalez-Santiago, Jonathan Gonzalez-Santiago, Michael Rivera-Santiago all of Fall River, 2 sisters: Ivys M. Ocasio-Santiago of Holyoke, Vilmaris Gonzalez-Santiago of Fall River, many nieces and nephews.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday at 10AM at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 5 – 8 P.M.
