Camilla Posey, 85, of 2610 McNair Road, Ashburn, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Pruitt Health Care in Moultrie, Georgia following an extended illness.

The daughter of the late Iverson Deason and Annie Johnson Nipper, she retired from the Turner County Board of Education where she was employed as a Para Professional. Mrs. Posey was also a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Posey is survived by her son: William “Bill” (Dianne) Posey of Moultrie, Georgia; Grandsons, Dr. Kent Alexander (Danielle) Posey of Moultrie, Georgia and Cole Andrew (Julie) Posey of Moultrie, Georgia; Great grandchildren, Beau Posey, Savannah Posey and Liam Posey all of Moultrie, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 24, 2015 in the Oak Grove Baptist Church, 3600 Oak Grove RD, Ashburn, GA with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn.
