Mrs. Anna R. (Gill) Lynch, a lifelong resident of Andover and Beloved wife of the late Mal Lynch, passed away at the Steward Holy Family Hospital in Methuen on Tuesday evening, January 20, 2015. She was 94 years old.
Born in Andover, Massachusetts, on July 20, 1920, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Bridget (Schoefield) Gill. Anna was a graduate of Punchard High School in Andover. She had a very witty and engaging sense of humor and was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving children; Judith A. Lynch of Hampton, New Hampshire, Vincent M. “Mickey” Lynch of Wells, Maine, David F. and his wife Valerie Lynch of Cape Neddick, Maine, Cathleen L. and her husband Michael J. McDonald of Haverhill and Raymond J. Lynch and his partner Kristal Kaylor, both of Rochester, New Hampshire, grandchildren; Kelly Connor, Julie Zaremba, Sean Darwin, Ryan Lynch, Erin Corbin, Meghan Matson, Maggie McDonald, Sarah McDonald, Mark Lynch and Telia Lynch and was known as “GG” to her thirteen great-grandchildren.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Friday, January 23, 2015, from 4 to 7 PM. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery in Andover.
