Obituary

FALL RIVER… Edward P. Niewola, 82, of Fall River passed away January 19, 2015 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the widower of Pauline E. (Christensen) Niewola.
He was born in Fall River a son of the late John F. and Josephine (Rusinski) Niewola and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the United States Navy.
He was a custodian with the Fall River School Department until his retirement.
Mr. Niewola was a member of the Thomas Chew Boys and Girls Club in Fall River. He played baseball when he was young and loved watching sports.
Survivors include 3 sisters: Josephine Niewola, Helen Little and her husband Ken, Mary Niewola all of Fall River, a brother John Niewola of CT, many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Stasia Ouellette and Anna Desjardins.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday at 9AM from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 709 Broadway, Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Stanislaus Church, Rockland St., Fall River.
