Lange, Bradford C. "Brad" died in Boston on January 17, 2015 at the age of 51. Brad is survived by his wife Lara Wysong of Boston; mother Sheila Lange of Camillus, NY; sisters Kris (Joe) Contini of Jordan, NY and Bonnie Rhymer of Bristol, TN and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Arthur Lange. Brad graduated from West Genesee High School in Camillus, NY and received a degree in engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He worked as a project engineer at Fred Thomas Associates in Ithaca, NY. before starting his own company, Optex, in Buffalo, NY as an IT and engineering consultant. In 1995 he moved to Boston to work as a project engineer with DMJM. Eventually he restarted Optex, developing entreprise level database systems for public and private organizations. Brad will be remembered for his wit and charm. He was a die hard liberal and passionate advocate for social justice. He served on the board of World Unity Inc., a Boston foundation promoting equality, diversity and inclusion. A Memorial Service will be held at the Forsyth Chapel of Forest Hills Cemetery, 95 Forest Hills Ave. Boston MA. on Saturday January 31, 2015. | ||||
