Mr. Michele Rubino, age 81 of Beverly formerly of Somerville and Stoneham, passed away January 19th at the Beverly Hospital following a short illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Rose M. (McNeill). Born in East Boston he was the son of the late Peter and Catherine (Urso) Rubino.

Mike, as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, was a retired truck driver and proud member of the Teamster Union Local 25. He was also a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War honorably serving from 1953 to 1955. In years past Mike enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. However Mike's greatest passion was his family. Nothing gave him more joy than spending time with his children and grandchildren. Together they shared many wonderful vacations together traveling, cruising and just enjoying each other's company making many cherished memories. Mike was also a loyal friend and he cherished his many friendships from his childhood that still remain strong to this day.

Mike is survived by his devoted children, Peter Rubino and his wife Linda of Canton, Ann Dow and her husband David, Margaret Rubino, and Carrie Williams all of Beverly. He was the loving papa of Peter Rubino and his wife Jessica, Joseph, Maria, Brayden and Kaylee Rubino, Stephen, Jeffrey and Mathew Dow, Leyah and McKenzie Williams, and Bernice Rubino. Dear brother-in-law of Jean Holbrook of Georgia and Helen Stewart of Somerville. Further survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Saturday, January 24th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mike's memory to the 5P Minus Society, P.O. Box 268, Lakewood, CA 90714-0268.
