Worcester – Jane D. Caron, 75, of Worcester, was called home to her eternal rest on Sunday, January 18th in the Meadows of Leicester.
Jane was born in Springfield, daughter of the late Henry and Muriel (Labonte) Caron. She graduated from Saint Anne’s Academy in Marlborough and received her bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s College in West Hartford, CT. She later furthered her education and earned a master’s degree from Fairfield University.
Ms. Caron is survived by many loving cousins and friends. She worked as a teacher for many years at both the Saint James School in Stafford, CT and Saint Thomas in West Hartford, CT.
Jane was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and also enjoyed spending time at wildlife sanctuaries as well as the Tower Hill Botanical Gardens in Boylston.
Ms. Caron was a gentle soul, who was greatly loved by many. Her greatest possession was her deep faith in Christ.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 21st from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 in Our Lady of the Angels Church 1222 Main St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 in the funeral home before the funeral.
