Obituary

Millbury – Claire E. (Swenson) Hisoire, 93, died on Monday, January 19th in the Millbury Healthcare Center.

Claire was married for 54 years to the late, Dennis E. Hisoire who died in 2001. She is survived by a son, Ernest J. Girardin of Worcester; two daughters, Claire D. Urbanowski of Sutton and Denise B. Ste. Marie of Shrewsbury; two sisters, Lorna Chaput of Oxford and Gail Sargent of Sutton; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

Mrs. Hisoire was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Ernest P. and Anna E. (Nordstrom) Swenson and is also predeceased by a daughter, Gwen P. Hisoire and 7 brothers and sisters.

Claire worked for many years as a Realtor. She was a faithful member of the Central Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was baptized in 1958.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 21st from 5 to 8 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street Worcester. A private funeral service will be held in the funeral home and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Congregation of the Jehovah’s Witness 659 Franklin Street Worcester, MA 01604.
