New Bedford – Joan M. Rodericks, age 53 of New Bedford, passed away, on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in Brockton, she was the wife of Louie Rodericks and the daughter of the late Virginia (Leonard) and John Anzivino and lived in this area for most of her life.
Joan was a homemaker and enjoyed the time she spent with her family very much. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching wrestling with her daughter and son in law.
Her family includes her 3 children: Brian Anzivino, Stephanie O’Halleran and her husband Andrew Tate all of New Bedford and the late Amanda Anzivino; 3 grandchildren: Cullen Tate, Ayvianna Amaral and Ethan Anzivino; Stepfather Ernest Johnson of Wareham; 3 Siblings: Michael Anzivino,and Diane Johnson both of New Bedford and Melissa Johnson of East Boston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Joan will be cremated. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to her family will be greatly appreciated. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, Ma.
