Miss Jeanne B. Benoit, of Taunton, died Saturday, January 17 in Morton Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born 68 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Arthur and Bertha (Lehouillier) Benoit. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, Jeanne was employed by the Foxboro Company for many years. She enjoyed making jigsaw puzzles, visiting the beach in Duxbury and her computer.
She leaves: 1 brother: Eugene Benoit of R.I.; 2 sisters: Janet Millette of W. Wareham, and Roseann Benoit of Taunton; her sister-in-law: Elaine Benoit of Taunton, and several nieces and nephews. Jeanne was also the sister of the late Theresa Hicks, Doris Smith, Richard Benoit, Sr., Gerald, Daniel, Lawrence and Edward Benoit.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
