Thompson, CT/Webster- Lawrence J. “Larry” Saad, 64, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 at UMass Memorial Hospital- University Campus in Worcester. His wife of 12 years, Janet C. (DiGregorio) Saad, died in 1987. Larry leaves behind two daughters, Shelby Saad-Callahan and her husband Michael of Ashland and Shannon B. Flamand wife of Dan Flamand of Thompson, CT, two brothers, John G.Saad of Oxford and Mark Saad of No. Oxford, one sister, Barbara Bowes of Oxford, four grand children- Danny and Cameron Flamand and Janet and Celia Callahan as well as many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Larry was born in Webster son of the late John G. and Stasia Agnes (Skowron) Saad, and lived in Webster for many years before moving to Thompson two years ago. He retired in 2012 from the former Westborough State Hospital where he worked over 34 years as a store house supervisor. He graduated from Nichols College. He was an avid New England Patriots fan, but his big passions in life were his daughters, his grandchildren, and his cat Damon.
A Funeral Service for Larry will be Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 10AM in the ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME & LAKE CHAPEL 366 SCHOOL STREET WEBSTER, MA. Burial will follow in New Notre Dame Cemetery, Southbridge, MA next to his beloved wife.
Calling Hours will be Monday, January 19, 2015 from 5-8PM in the Funeral Home.
