Worcester – Florence M. (Huberdault) Montville, 79, of Worcester, died on Thursday, January 15th in the Jewish Healthcare Center.
Florence is survived by two sons, Michael J. Montville of Spencer and Ernest J. Montville of Worcester; a daughter, Elaine Levis and her husband Thomas of Worcester; a brother, Joseph Huberdault of Florida; 4 grandchildren, Angela Fisher and her husband Neal, Michael Montville Jr. and his wife Jena, Amy Camara and her husband Brad and Jennifer Selzo and her husband Michael; 3 great grandchildren, Miranda, Kendra and Isabella and many nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Ernest and Dora (Ayotte) Huberdault and is also predeceased by a brother John Rogers and a sister Jeanne Lucey.
Florence worked for many years as a teacher’s aide in the Worcester Public Schools and also worked in the housekeeping department at Hermitage Nursing Home and Tatnuck Park Assisted Living. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart – Saint Catherine of Sweden Parish where she volunteered for both the coffee shop and bingo.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of both the Oncology department at the St. Vincent Cancer and Wellness Center as well as the staff of the Jewish Home for the exceptional care and compassion that was shown to Florence.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 20th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 11 AM Sacred Heart – St. Catherine of Sweden Church 600 Cambridge St. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are on Monday, January 19th from 4 to 7 PM in the funeral home.
