NATICK: Virginia A. “Gena” (Martinelli) Bardellini, age 93, of South Natick, died peacefully at the Peabody Home in Franklin, New Hampshire, Tuesday, January 13, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert J. Bardellini.
A lifelong Natick resident, she was a daughter of the late Aldo and Mary (Delpivo) Martinelli. Virginia’s greatest pleasures in life were caring for her family and cooking Italian dishes. Her passions were beautiful gardens and family vacations to Las Vegas, Italy, and Canada, among other destinations.
Her family wishes to thank the Peabody Home in Franklin, New Hampshire, for their warm and caring ways.
She is survived by her much-loved sons, Richard A. Bardellini, Sr. and his wife Carole of NH, and Kenneth J. Bardellini of Natick and Linda Bardellini of TX; her four grandchildren, Richard A. Bardellini, Jr., of NH, Michelle R. Bardellini of AZ, Windy J. Bardellini of NH, and Jason A. Bardellini of TX; three great-grandchildren, Cody J. A. Chamberlain, Kaitlin N. Bardellini, and Brigham M. Bardellini; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, on Tuesday, January 20th at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick.
Visiting hours will be on Monday, 4 – 7PM.
