Entered into eternal life on January 13, 2015. She was born in North St. Paul, MN, on December 13, 1926, to Frederick & Ida Zaspel. On October 29, 1954, she married Lloyd Gene Swanson. Together they provided a loving home for three daughters. Ida is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd (2004); two brothers Donald (Margaret) Zaspel & Norman (Marion) Zaspel. She is survived by her children, Lynn (Steve) Swensen of Rochester, Lori Swanson of River Falls, & Karen (Monte) Mecklenburg of St. Paul. She also leaves five grandchildren who were the joys of her life, Megan, Scott, Callie, Joseph & Kimberly. Services will be held Saturday (1/17) 11:00 AM at CHRIST EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2475 E. 17th Ave., North St. Paul. Lunch will be provided immediately following the service. Private family burial.
