Mrs. Eleanor C. (O'Connor) Masters, 96, of Andover, died Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Wingate at Belvidere Nursing Home, Lowell, Mass. She was the wife of the late George E. Masters, and daughter of the late Daniel and Helen (Blagdon) O'Connor. Eleanor grew up in Lynn, Mass., and had worked at the G.E. plant in Lynn during WWII on the assembly line. She was a true Rosie the Riveter. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her family and grandchildren. She leaves five children, Mary Zimmerman of Michigan, George E. Masters Jr. of Somerville, Mass., Barbara Graffeo and her husband, Joseph, of Stoughton, Mass., Virginia Masters of Tewksbury, Mass., Kathleen Beaulieu and her husband, Ray, of Littleton, Mass.; as well as 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Walter O'Connor of Lynn. Eleanor was the mother of the late Robert Masters, formerly of Stoneham, Mass., and the sister of the late Daniel O'Connor, Doris Raney, and Helen Farnam.
