Patrick J. ‘Pat’ Govanni, passed away peacefully Monday, January 12, 2015 at Webster Manor after a short illness.
He leaves his wife of many years, Pauline (Blanchette) Govanni, a niece, Andrea Waldron and her husband James of Sebring, FLA., a grand-niece, Michelle A. Thibeault and her friend Bryan of Cocoa, FLA., God-child, Johnna Coggin and her husband Mark and their family of Westborough, another God-child, Nancy Iovanni of Shrewsbury and many cousins.
Pat was born in Webster the last of 5 sons and 3 daughters of the late Antonio and Loretta ‘Laura’ (Catino) Govanni.
He was educated and graduated from St. Louis School in Webster part of a graduating class of 27 students.
Pat worked at the former Ethan Allen Co. and then Tri-State Toyota and enjoyed working at both places where the staff were also his friends.
He was a Boston Celtic and New England Patriots fan and also was a season ticket holder for Holy Cross basketball and football teams, which he enjoyed travelling to watch them play.
Pat also enjoyed playing cards on Friday nights with his friends, and simple home games with family and friends.
He loved music, song and dance.
Pat ‘Just enjoyed living’. He will be greatly missed.
He was so grateful and appreciative of clergy, friends and neighbors for all their help and kindness.

A Calling Hour for Pat will be Friday, January 16, 2015 from 9:30-10:30 AM at the ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St., Webster.
A Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd., on Friday, January 16, 2015 followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery in Dudley.
