CRONIN, Eleanor M. (Doucette), of Winthrop, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital on January 10, 2015. She was 85. She was the beloved wife of the late William G. Cronin. Born in Wakefield, she was the daughter of the late William and Frances (Muise) Doucette. Dear aunt of Jeannette Carroll of New Haven CT, Joni Spray of CA, and the late Patricia Nempsey. Great aunt of Daniel Carroll, William Jr, Frank and Michael Nempsey. Life-long dear friend of Katherine “Kay” Meuse of Winthrop and Carol and Vincent Sorrentino of Winthrop. Sister of the late Agnes Pierce, Ruth Muse, Frances Green, John “Edward”, Ernie and Alfred Doucette. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Thurs. Jan. 15, at 8am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop, at 9am. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will take place in Winthrop Cemetery.
