Obituary

NATICK - Lucille M. (Quinton) Goddard, age 88, formerly of Natick, died on Sunday, January 11th, 2015, at the Beth Israel Medical Center in Boston surrounded by her family.

She was born in Newton, the daughter of the late Della and Lesley Quinton.

For many years, she worked in the electronics industry as a quality control technician and manager in Massachusetts and Maryland. But, her greatest role was as loving mother and grandmother. She had a way of making each child and grandchild feel special and loved.

She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel MacNeill; husbands Gordon MacNeill and Donald Goddard; and long-time companion, Clifford S. Firth.

She is survived by a sister, Mary Connolly and her husband Francis of Norwood; a brother, Norman Quinton and his wife Virginia of Webster; fourteen children, Norm and Selina MacNeill of Camden, Arkansas, Cheryl Goddard of Temecula, California, Wayne and Cindy Goddard of Sutton, George and Dawna Goddard of Bellingham, Louise Firth Campbell and George Campbell of Boxford, Linda Firth and Jim McNiff of Salisbury, Lorraine and Jim Bibbo of Natick, Loretta Sheppard of Worcester, Clifford C. and Anne Firth of Hyde Park, Laura and Bill Cronin of Hyannis, Lucille Eager of Wakefield, New Hampshire, Christopher and Diane Firth of Bellingham, Lisa Firth and Joanna Schomberg of Whitinsville, and Charles and Wendy Firth of Hopedale; 28 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 16th at 10:00 A.M. in the Sudbury United Methodist Church, 251 Old Sudbury Road, Sudbury. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Natick.

Visiting hours will be in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, on Thursday, January 15th from 4:00 to 7:00P.M.
