Thomas H. Petralia, age 68 of Pride’s Crossing passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at his late residence. He was the son of the late Victor P and Eva (Rumore) Petralia. Tom was born in Lawrence on November 14, 1946, and was a Methuen resident for many years. He spent about twenty years as a resident of North Andover.
Tom was a 1964 graduate of Tenney Memorial High School in Methuen. After high school, he received an Associates Degree in Accounting at Burdett College in Boston. Tom attended New Hampshire College where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree. He was a member of the 331st General Hospital Army Reserve Unit from 1969-1976. He was also a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Tom Worked Locally as a public accountant and also in the Boston and Quincy areas. He owned his own public accounting firm in Andover before his retirement.
Tom was a member of the First Calvary Baptist Church where his ethical and moral compass was attained.
He is survived by a brother, Victor P. Petralia, Jr. of St. Mary’s, GA and a niece Kristen Frost of NY. He also leaves many cousins locally and in CA and MD.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the charity of your choice. At Tom’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at the First Calvary Baptist Church, 586 Massachusetts Ave. North Andover, MA 01845 on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Arrangements are by the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St. Methuen, MA 01844. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
