Patricia A. "Pat" (Gardner) Davis, a 13 year resident of Stoneham and former longtime resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Winchester Hospital in Winchester following an extended illness. She was 73 years old.
Pat was born in Boston on January 20, 1941, a daughter of the late Joseph P. Gardner and Helena G. (Howland) Gardner. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1958. Pat was a homemaker most of her adult life where she dedicated herself with love and care to her husband and 5 daughters. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles in her spare time.
Pat is the beloved wife of 51 years to retired Boston Firefighter Robert W. "Bob" Davis. She is the devoted mother of Karen Riordan and her husband Henry of West Chester, Pennsylvania, Nancy Welch and her husband Michael of Rockland, Lynne Rebelo and her husband John of Everett, Christine Gover and her husband Ronald of Lynn and the late Mary Jo Davis. She is the loving Nana to Kaleigh, Kasey, Lucas, Ian, Lena, Samantha, Michael, Shauna and Scott. She is the beloved sister of Dorothy Mountain of Billerica and the late Paul Babbin and Joseph Gardner. She is the loving sister-in-law of Susan Gardner of Merrimack, New Hampshire.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Pat's Funeral on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
