Beloved husband, father, and grandpa, was called home on December 23, 2014. Al was preceded in death by daughter, Mary Jean Sass, and parents Elsie (nee Luchsinger) and Harold Moris. He graduated from Cretin High School, served briefly in the U.S. Air Force at Holman Field, studied electronics, and was employed at 3M Company in Maplewood for over 30 years. A devout Catholic, Al was active in the church throughout his life. Al loved music, playing with the family dogs, fishing, and cards, but more than anything, he loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rita (nee Krause), sons Robert (Beverly) Moris, William Moris, and daughter Annette Moris (David Neudahl), son-in-law John Sass, grandchildren Jennifer Sass, Jeanine (Lee) Miller, Adam (Jen) Moris, Mathew (Kathy) Moris, John Sass, Daniel and Samantha Shinnick, Michael Moris, and 4 great-grandchildren. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM, Tuesday, Dec 30 at PRESENTATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1725 Kennard St. at Larpenteur Ave., Maplewood, with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, North St. Paul.
