Stephen G. Casey age 62 of Stoughton passed away December 24th at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Oakland, CA, he was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School Class of 1970. He worked as a Technician for AT & T, Nextel and XO Communications and most recently worked for the VA Hospital in W. Roxbury in the EMS Department. Steve was a friend of Bill. Beloved husband of Susan I. (Koplan). Father of Christopher and Kimberly Casey both of TX and Jacob Casey of Stoughton. Loving son of Mary Jean Casey of Canton and the late Stephen R. Brother of Marijean Chagnon and her husband Richard of Dedham and Judy Sogard and her husband Michael of Canton. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited to attend a graveside service at Knollwood Memorial Park Canton Wednesday morning at 10:30. A period of mourning will be observed at the family’s home Wednesday after the funeral and Thursday from noon until 8 pm and Friday from 10 am until noon. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era.
