Frank J. Ghizzi, 64, of Worcester died Wednesday, December 17th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus. He leaves his wife of 36 years, Barbara (McCauliff) Ghizzi; a son, Charles M. Ghizzi of Truckee, CA; his parents, Frank and Helen (McDonald) Ghizzi of Worcester.
He was born in Worcester and graduated from Worcester State College. Mr. Ghizzi worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for over 30 years with the Department of Transitional Assistance as a trainer, retiring in 2013. He enjoyed watching the Red Sox.
Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
