Rose Morhy, age 85, passed away on December 20, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lebanon, she was the wife of the late Michael J. Morhy. She was the true definition of what a mom should be; loving, generous, kind, warm, forgiving, selfless, graceful and strong. She had a courageous and undaunted passion for life. Even in failing health her resolve and spirit remained resilient. She demonstrated this by her perseverance and insistence in doing the things she loved, whether gardening or cooking for family, friends, neighbors or even strangers. She gave without expecting anything in return and no one ever left the house hungry or without a hug and a smile.
Rose was the loving mother of Delilah, Michael, and Paul and grandmother of Nathan, Corinne and Adam. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River TUESDAY with extended calling hours from 8:30-9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony of the Desert Church at 10:00 A.M.
