Bessie Marie (Spillman) Hornback, 84, passed away Friday December 19, 2014 at Christian Health Center.
She was born in Louisville, KY to William Chester & Virginia (Ladusaw) Spillman.
Bessie was retired from the Human Resources Dept at Phillip Morris Corp., with 18 years service.
She was a former member of Heavenly Heights Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, her loving Husband of 49 years, Robert E. Hornback Sr.; and a Daughter: Susan Lynn Hornback.
Survivors include her Sons: Thomas D. Hornback (Lynnetta) and Robert E. Hornback Jr. (Joy); 5 Grandchildren: Jason, Jennifer, Justin & Lauren Hornback and Sean Johnson;
5 Great Grandchildren: Caden, Ireland, Mina, Jacob & Jonah. Also surviving is her special friend, John Strother.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be Monday 2:00 – 8:00 PM and Tuesday 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
